Curvo Player ("the app") is a local video player. Your privacy matters, and the app is built to keep everything on your device.
Nothing. Curvo Player does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The app makes no network requests with your content.
The app reads video files and folders only on your device to list and play them. Thumbnails and playback positions are generated and stored locally on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.
Depending on your Android version, the app requests media access (READ_MEDIA_VIDEO) and, optionally, broad file access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / "All files access") so it can open videos from any folder and SD cards — exactly like other full-featured video players. This access is used solely on the device to find and play your videos. No file contents, names, or locations ever leave your device.
The optional one-time "Pro" upgrade is processed by Google Play Billing. Curvo Player does not receive or store your payment information; that is handled entirely by Google Play. We only receive a signal from Google Play that the purchase succeeded, which unlocks the feature on your device.
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
